ARTIST'S STATEMENT

I have a deep and abiding love for nature/landscape photography, and for macro (i.e., close-up) photography. I sometimes enjoy the challenges of complicated studio lighting situations, but I'm more an artist than a technician. I'd much rather walk the woods in search of hidden wonders, than calculate lighting ratios, or find a way to make a posed shot seem natural.
